Terrence Parker is a Detroit DJ and producer known as a pioneer of inspirational or gospel house. His soulful Detroit house blends gospel vocals, soul, disco, jazz and techno with hip-hop turntablism. Hits including "Love's Got Me High" and "The Question" and albums such as "Detroit After Dark" (1997) built his international reputation. Nicknamed the Telephone Man for using a telephone handset as headphones, his shows are celebrated for uplifting, church-for-dancers energy.
