SWITCHFOOT
rockpop
Switchfoot is an American alternative rock band from San Diego, formed in 1996 by Jon and Tim Foreman with Chad Butler. Guitar-driven songs pair earnest lyrics with hooks like "Meant to Live" and "Dare You to Move" from "The Beautiful Letdown" (2003). "Hello Hurricane" (2009) won a Grammy for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album, and "Forever Now" followed in 2026. Shows are energetic, crowd-facing rock sets spanning their catalog.
