Sweeping Promises in New York

Sweeping Promises is an American post-punk duo, Lira Mondal and Caufield Schnug, formed in Boston in 2019 and later based in Lawrence, Kansas. Their debut "Hunger for a Way Out" (2020) was tracked in a disused concrete laboratory with a self-devised single-mic technique and mixed in mono. "Good Living Is Coming for You" (2023) drew praise for its pop songwriting and idiosyncratic punk production.
