Surfer Girl is the band project of Carter Reeves, the former frontman of Aer, the hip-hop and pop duo from Wayland, Massachusetts. The music blends indie-pop, reggae and surf-rock with hip-hop elements into breezy, upbeat anthems. Reeves launched the project after Aer split in 2016, and Surfer Girl released its debut full-length album "Sunrise" in 2022.
