Stu Allen is an American guitarist and singer known for Grateful Dead repertoire, with past roles in Phil Lesh and Friends and Melvin Seals and JGB. At Ashkenaz in Berkeley, he leads the long running Grateful Dead Night with a revolving cast drawing from the band's vast catalog. His playing keeps the psychedelic rock songbook alive for Deadheads across generations. Live sets aim to capture the feel of a classic Grateful Dead show from the 1960s and 1970s.
