STRFKR is an American indie rock band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2007 by singer Joshua Hodges as a solo project before expanding into a four-piece. Their sound fuses indie pop, synth-pop and electronica into danceable songs with lyrics that often explore mortality over upbeat hooks. Albums include Miracle Mile (2013) and Parallel Realms (2024) on Polyvinyl, and Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second brought wider attention via retail advertising. Live shows are known for high-energy, dance-floor sets built on hooky anthems.
