Steve Ferrone is an English drummer, born in Brighton in 1950, known for his work with Average White Band and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. He joined Average White Band in the 1970s and was the Heartbreakers' drummer from 1994 to 2017. His session credits include Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Duran Duran and Michael Jackson, and he played in the Saturday Night Live house band.
