Steve Dawson is a Chicago singer-songwriter, born in San Diego and raised in Idaho, active in the city since the late 1980s. His music blends folk, country, soul and rock, exploring memory, love and mortality. With Dolly Varden he released six albums including "The Dumbest Magnets" (2000); Pravda solo albums include "Ghosts." Intimate shows pair his catalog with jazz and folk collaborators.
