Stéphane Tétreault is a Canadian cellist born in Montreal in 1993 who plays the 1707 "Countess of Stainlein, ex-Paganini" Stradivarius. His repertoire runs from cello concertos to Debussy arranged for cello and piano and tango with bandoneonist Denis Plante, heard on "Stradivatango" (2025). He received the Virginia Parker Prize in 2019 and the Prix Opus for Performer of the Year in 2022.
