Starz is an American hard rock and power pop band from New Jersey, formed in 1975 out of the pop group Looking Glass. Fronted by singer Michael Lee Smith with guitarist Richie Ranno, the band released "Starz" (1976), "Violation" (1977), "Attention Shoppers!" (1978) and "Coliseum Rock" (1978). "Cherry Baby" reached No. 33 on the Hot 100, and Mötley Crüe, Poison and Bon Jovi have cited Starz as an influence.
