Spookey Ruben

Spookey Ruben is the stage name of Canadian musician and filmmaker Alan F. Deil, an indie and alternative rock artist. The music blends high and low vocals, analogue keyboards, found sounds and sampled beats with stringed instruments. The 1995 track "These Days Are Old" and its video remain the best-known work, followed by albums such as "Brunch" (2000) and "Toronto, You've Changed" (2025).
