Souls of Mischief is a hip hop quartet from Oakland, California, with rappers A-Plus, Opio, Phesto, and Tajai. They are core members of the Hieroglyphics collective, pairing jazz-influenced beats with dense, conversational lyrics. Their 1993 debut "93 'til Infinity" became a West Coast classic; its title track went platinum in the United States. Live, they are known for tight four-MC sets rooted in the Hieroglyphics family sound.
