Smelter

Smelter is a Broward County, Florida alternative rock band formed in 2020, blending heavy alt-rock with shoegaze textures. Their songs stack grungy riffs and dreamy reverb, landing somewhere between slow-burning noise and melodic haze. Featuring members of Gouge Away, Ephemeral and Domain, they released the EPs "Muffler" (2021) and "New Skin" (2023) on Tiger Records. Live, they are a staple of South Florida's indie and punk circuits, frequently sharing bills with Palomino Blond and other local acts.
