Sleep in New York

Sleep is an American stoner and doom metal band from San Jose, California, formed in 1990. Their sound relies on slow, down-tuned riffs and hypnotic repetition. "Sleep's Holy Mountain" (1992) and "Dopesmoker" (2003) became doom metal classics; "The Sciences" (2018) marked their reunion. Live sets stretch into marathon, riff-heavy performances beloved in stoner metal circles.
