Skeleton Crewe

Skeleton Crewe is a jam-scene quintet formed in early 2024 from veterans of Dark Star Orchestra, Dead and Company, and Phil Lesh circles. Rob Barraco, Barry Sless, Stephen Inglis, Pete Sears, and Jay Lane blend Hawaiian slack key, psychedelic pedal steel, and expansive improvisations. Sets feature Robert Hunter and Barraco co-writes, reimagined Grateful Dead songs, and psychedelic Americana. Shows are built as intimate, conversational evenings of high-level collective improvisation.
