Shpongle is a psychedelic electronic music project from England, formed in 1996 by Simon Posford and Raja Ram. The duo are considered progenitors of psybient, combining world music and vocals with psychedelic trance and ambient synthesizer music. Their debut album "Are You Shpongled?" came out in 1998, and Posford handles the synthesizers and live instruments while Raja Ram adds concepts and flute.
