Shigeto

Shigeto is the electronic project of Detroit producer and drummer Zach Saginaw, rooted in Ann Arbor and Ghostly International. His music draws on jazz, hip hop, live percussion, and beat-driven electronics into an organic, improvisational sound. Albums include Full Circle (2010), No Better Time Than Now (2013), and Cherry Blossom Baby (2024), and he co-founded Portage Garage Sounds. Live sets span DJ booths, drum-led improvisation, and collaborative Detroit bills.
