She & Him in Los Angeles

She & Him is an American indie pop duo of singer Zooey Deschanel and guitarist M. Ward, formed in Portland, Oregon. Their sound draws on vintage folk, country, and sixties pop with close vocal harmonies. Debut album "Volume One" arrived in 2008, followed by "Volume Two" (2010) and several holiday releases. Concerts emphasize warm, retro-styled arrangements and the pair's understated stage chemistry.
