Sevendust

Sevendust is an alternative metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1994 and fronted by Lajon Witherspoon. Their sound pairs bottom-heavy, low-tuned riffs with soulful melodies. The self-titled debut (1997), "Home" (1999) and "Animosity" (2001) went gold, and "Thank You" brought a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. Their live reputation rests on constant touring, including shows for U.S. troops overseas.
