Alex G is American singer-songwriter Alexander Giannascoli from Havertown, Pennsylvania, once billed as (Sandy) Alex G. His music pairs lo-fi indie rock and folk with off-kilter pop hooks and oblique lyrics. Bandcamp self-releases led to DSU (2014) and later Domino albums including Rocket (2017) and God Save the Animals (2022). Concerts feature his regular live band on guitar, bass, and drums.
