Ryan Burns

Ryan Burns is a Chicago-based indie folk musician raised across the Midwest, pairing introspective lyrics with intricate guitar and banjo work. His songs blend folk storytelling with Wilco and Fleet Foxes influences into arrangements that are alternately driving and comforting. Since 2019 he has released an EP and full-length album, including "The Institute", inspired by artworks at the Art Institute of Chicago.
