Rushadicus

Rushadicus is the performance persona of cellist Rushad Eggleston, the Carmel, California-born musician known as the Cello Goblin. His music fuses classical technique, bluegrass cello, jazz scatting, and kazoo into genre-bending improvisation rooted in his imaginary world, the Land of Sneth. Eggleston co-founded Crooked Still and earned a Grammy nomination with Fiddlers 4 (2003) while pioneering solo bluegrass cello. Live shows deliver wild, interactive theatrical sets of surreal humor, precarious staging, and audience participation.
