Rimarkable in New York

Rimarkable is the stage name of Maria Garcia, a Detroit-born Afro-Puerto Rican DJ, producer, vocalist, and cultural curator. Her sound moves through gospel, funk, soul, house, and techno, shaped by Detroit's legacy and first-generation Puerto Rican roots. She has played with Louie Vega, Honey Dijon, and George Clinton, hosts Defected Radio, and teaches The Alchemy of DJing at NYU. Sets treat dance music as ritual and community, from her Judy party to global festival stages.
