Reyna Tropical is a Los Angeles musical project founded in 2016 by guitarist Fabi Reyna and producer Nectali Díaz. Its songs mix tropical Latin rhythms, electronic beats, Afro-Indigenous percussion, and dreamy guitar, shaped by Colombian, Peruvian, Mexican, and Congolese influences. Reyna continued alone after Díaz died in 2022, releasing EPs Reyna Tropical and Sol y Lluvia before the 2024 debut album Malegría on Psychic Hotline. Live sets emphasize rhythmic, hip-swaying tropical grooves with bilingual vocals.
