Reverend Horton Heat is the stage name of guitarist Jim Heath and his psychobilly trio from Dallas, Texas. The band blends rockabilly, country blues, and punk energy, updating psychobilly for alternative rock audiences. Their 1990 debut album "Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em" and signature song "Psychobilly Freakout" helped define modern psychobilly. Their live shows are known for musical virtuosity, manic showmanship, and riff-driven rock and roll.
