Reiko Takahashi

Reiko Takahashi is a Japanese singer who began recording in the late 1980s before later working in Los Angeles as Rayko. Her city pop singles pair sleek synths and funk grooves with romantic J-pop melodies. The 1987 Victor release "Sunset Road" became her signature song after a later global rediscovery. Club appearances spotlight that catalog on vinyl with intimate live vocals.
