rockpop
Rainbow Kitten Surprise is an alternative rock band formed in 2013 in Boone, North Carolina, fronted by Ela Melo. Their songs mix close harmony vocals and shifting, genre blurring arrangements. The Elektra debut "How To: Friend, Love, Freefall" (2018) carried the platinum single "It's Called: Freefall", and "Bones" arrived in 2025. They built their following on festival stages including Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits.
