Peter Bjorn and John are a Swedish indie pop trio formed in Stockholm in 1999, named for Peter Morén, Björn Yttling and John Eriksson. Their songs draw on 1960s baroque pop, power pop and new wave, shaped by three songwriters who sing and produce. Breakthrough came with "Young Folks" from Writer's Block (2006). Live shows showcase hook-driven indie rock for three voices and tight band interplay.
