Paul Van Dyk in Columbus

Paul van Dyk, born Matthias Paul in Eisenhüttenstadt in 1971, is a German DJ and producer and a central figure in trance music. His sound is melodic, uplifting trance. "For an Angel" and "Tell Me Why (The Riddle)" became genre standards, and the album "Reflections" (2003) drew the first Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album. DJ Magazine voted him the world's number one DJ in 2005 and 2006.
