Ozomatli

Ozomatli is an American band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1995 from a grassroots arts-center movement rooted in labor activism. Their sound fuses salsa, cumbia, hip-hop, funk, reggae, and rock with socially conscious lyrics often sung in Spanish. Grammy-winning albums "Embrace the Chaos" (2001) and "Street Signs" (2004) followed the 1998 self-titled debut that defined Angeleno Latin fusion. Live shows are riotous, genre-mashing dance parties known for spilling from clubs into the street.
