Overkill

Overkill is a New Jersey thrash metal band formed in 1980; bassist D.D. Verni and singer Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth are its only constants. Their fast thrash mixes punk and NWOBHM in the East Coast scene with Anthrax. "Feel the Fire" (1985) and a 1986 Atlantic deal opened their major era; later albums include "White Devil Armory" (2014) and "Scorched" (2023). Live, they tour hard and keep "Elimination" in rotation.
