Northcote

Northcote is the stage name of Canadian singer-songwriter Matthew Goud. His folk rock songs blend acoustic honesty with a warm voice that sounds weathered and hopeful. After guitar duty in post-hardcore band Means, he began Northcote in 2009 with the EP "Borrowed Chords, Tired Eyes" and the album "Hope Is Made of Steel" (2015). Live sets pair grit and emotional depth with personal, deeply moving performances.
