No Motiv

No Motiv is a punk and post-hardcore band from Oxnard, California, part of the second wave of the Nardcore scene. Their sound pairs melodic emocore with personal, introspective lyrics over driving punk rock. Albums such as And the Sadness Prevails… (1999) and Daylight Breaking (2004) came out on Vagrant Records. After years largely inactive, the band still surfaces for selective reunion sets on the Southern California punk circuit.
