Night Channels is the San Diego solo project of songwriter and producer Jose Maria. The music pairs 1980s post-punk ideas with lush 1990s dream-pop guitar in a darkwave palette. He issues material such as "NC: Vol. 1" through his own Bandcamp releases. Live sets slot into dark wave club nights alongside heavier guitar acts on mixed bills.
