Next

Next is an American R&B trio from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 1992 by Robert R.L. Huggar, Terry T-Low Brown, and Raphael Tweety Brown. Their late-1990s records blend gospel-rooted harmonies, suggestive lyrics, and slick production in the Jodeci and R. Kelly tradition. Debut album "Rated Next" (1997) went double platinum behind number-one hits "Too Close" and "Wifey." Live sets revive crowd favorites from their 1990s and 2000s catalog on R&B and nostalgia tours.
