Nelson Rangell

Nelson Rangell is an American contemporary jazz saxophonist and flutist from Colorado. He plays alto, tenor, and soprano saxophone along with flute, blending smooth jazz melodies with wide ranging improvisation. His 1987 debut "To Begin Again" launched a GRP Records run that included eight albums through the 1990s. Live, critics note his commanding sax tone and the sense that anything is possible when he improvises.
