Nekromantix is a psychobilly band formed in Copenhagen in 1989 by bassist and singer Kim Nekroman, its only constant member. Nekroman plays a custom upright bass shaped like a coffin, with a cross for a headstock, and the songs draw on horror imagery. Albums include "Hellbound" (1989) and "Curse of the Coffin" (1991). The band later signed to Hellcat Records and moved to Los Angeles.
