Nanseera is a Nashville singer-songwriter, London-born and raised in Uganda and Ethiopia before moving to the United States for school. Drawing on Tracy Chapman, Lianne LaHavas, and Sheryl Crow, she writes poetic folk about home, love, and identity. Time in France and Uganda, plus east coast touring, shapes her old soul lyricism.
