Murder Murder

Murder Murder is a San Francisco Bay Area improvisational ensemble led since 2001 by Paul Costuros, its only constant member. The rotating lineup draws musicians from the region's noise, free jazz, and experimental rock underground. Costuros also played in Death Sentence: Panda!, and sets are typically one continuous piece under semi-conducted improvisation, rarely exceeding fifteen minutes. Shows are brief bursts of art-punk entropy, often with dual drummers, horns, and electronics.
