Moein is an Iranian pop and traditional singer born Nasrollah Moein Najafabadi in Najafabad, Isfahan. He rose to fame in pre-revolutionary Iran and continued his career in the United States after 1979, blending Persian folk roots with romantic pop. His breakout song Yeki Ra Doost Midaram (1979) and later albums such as Miparastam built a devoted global audience.
