Mitchel Forman

Mitchel Forman is an American jazz and fusion pianist born in New York and trained at the Manhattan School of Music. His playing blends post-bop lyricism with electric fusion energy, shaped by influences from Bill Evans to Chick Corea. He toured with Gerry Mulligan, John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu band, and Wayne Shorter before leading his own groups, including Metro. Live work spans leader dates, sideman sessions, and intimate jazz vocal showcases.
