MGMT

MGMT is an American indie pop duo formed in 2002 by Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser at Wesleyan University. Their sound merges psychedelic rock and synth-pop with hooky songwriting and playful lyrics. The 2007 debut "Oracular Spectacular" yielded "Time to Pretend", "Electric Feel" and "Kids", and earned Grammy nominations. On stage they often tour as an expanded band, carrying the album's psychedelic sparkle into fuller arrangements.
