Menudo

Menudo is a Puerto Rican boy band formed in 1977 by producer Edgardo Díaz. Their Latin pop shifted from bubblegum to a more rock oriented sound by the late 1980s. Members were replaced as they reached their late teens, so more than fifty singers passed through the group, among them Ricky Martin. "Quiero Ser" (1981) brought international stardom, and the group sold some 20 million records.
