Matt Skellenger

Matt Skellenger is a Denver electric bassist, composer, and educator who leads the Matt Skellenger Group. The band blends jazz, fusion, and world music through electric bass, trumpet, trombone, and tabla. Ron Miles played on its first three albums, including "Parentheticals" (2009) and "Subspace Transmission" (2023). Shows range from solo bass sets to full ensemble concerts honoring Miles's compositions.
