Matt Jalbert Band is the song-driven project from Matt Jalbert, founding guitarist of the Long Island progressive rock outfit TAUK. The band blends groove-forward indie rock with psychedelic and blues influences and concise, melodic songwriting. After more than a decade touring nationally with TAUK, including Bonnaroo, Hulaween, and Red Rocks, Jalbert stepped forward as a lead vocalist. Live shows pair deep-pocket grooves with adventurous, guitar-led musicianship.
