Mathis Picard

Mathis Picard is a French-Malagasy pianist, composer, and producer based in New York City. His work blends classical technique with modern jazz and genre-defying original compositions drawn from his multinational roots. A Juilliard graduate mentored by Kenny Barron, he is an ASCAP Next Generation of Songwriters recipient and has shared stages with Ron Carter, Wynton Marsalis, and Christian McBride. His solo concerts showcase virtuosic keyboard work and a rising-voice jazz sensibility.
