Mathew Jonson

Mathew Jonson is a Canadian techno producer, DJ, and label owner based in Berlin. Born in British Columbia, he co-founded Wagon Repair and shapes melodic, rhythmically nuanced electronic music from analog gear. Anthems such as "Marionette" and "Decompression" made him a defining underground voice in the 2000s. Live performances favor real-time hardware play over playback, treating the booth as an extension of the studio.
