Mason Jennings

Mason Jennings is a folk and Americana singer-songwriter, born in Honolulu in 1975 and based in Minneapolis. He writes unpretentious, introspective songs built on stripped-back acoustic arrangements, drawing comparisons to Nick Drake and Tom Waits. His self-titled debut came in 1997, followed by "Boneclouds" (2006) and "Minnesota" (2011). He also plays in the synth-rock group Painted Shield with Stone Gossard.
