Martin Kerr in Sherwood Park

Martin Kerr is a UK-born folk singer-songwriter based in Edmonton, Alberta, who began by busking on the city's streets. He bills himself as a folk troubadour for the post-truth age, mixing storytelling with protest songs and parody rewrites about inequality, housing and solidarity. He reached the Canadian Top 10 with "Better Than Brand-New" and played more than 400 Stay Home Street Concerts during the pandemic.
