MARRØN is an Amsterdam-based DJ whose fast, rhythmic techno draws on his Surinamese roots and the legacy of Suriname's Maroons. Beginning through Afro Deep, he carried African rhythmic foundations into atmospheric, driving techno built for long-form hypnosis. Born Jessey Voorn, he left a professional basketball career to pursue electronic music under this name honoring Maroon freedom fighters. His sets balance speed with groove, using repetition and momentum to keep dancefloors locked in for hours.
